AFC Bournemouth has renewed its partnership with Uber Eats, continuing the food delivery platform’s role as the club’s official partner for the next two seasons. The agreement brings back the popular ‘Clean Sheets’ promotion, where fans receive 50% off orders from local restaurant El Murrino via the Uber Eats app whenever Bournemouth keeps a clean sheet, following its success in the 2023/24 season.
Rob Mitchell, AFC Bournemouth’s Commercial Director, expressed enthusiasm about the continued collaboration: “We’ve enjoyed working with Uber Eats and had great success with our clean sheets promotion. We’re excited to continue this partnership, supporting local businesses in the Bournemouth and Poole area.”
In addition, Uber Eats will host half-time matchday takeovers at four home Premier League games this season, offering fans promotions on local restaurants. The partnership aims to not only engage fans but also bolster support for local eateries within the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole (BCP) community.
Jamie Evans, Uber Eats’ Senior Territory Account Manager, highlighted the focus on Bournemouth and the excitement around the extended collaboration: “We’re thrilled to enter our third season with AFC Bournemouth, shining a spotlight on the city’s fantastic local restaurants. The Clean Sheets campaign has become a fan favorite, and we couldn’t wait to continue building on that momentum.”
