As the transfer deadline draws near, Nottingham Forest is reportedly keeping an eye on Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto. The Reds have until Friday, August 30, at 11 p.m. to finalize any outstanding transactions before the summer transfer window shuts. So far, they have added nine players, albeit two of those players are going to Olympiacos on loan right away.
In order to advance in the Premier League, the team still has to add a few finishing touches to Nuno Espirito Santo’s roster. Additionally, incomings are anticipated during the window’s last hours.
Carlos Miguel, a goalkeeper, has already joined Forest this summer. On Wednesday night, the Brazilian made his debut when Newcastle United eliminated Nuno’s team from the Carabao Cup.
But, there was always a chance that the Reds will switch up their goalkeeping this season and bring in two goalkeepers. Though there has been less talk about keepers being targeted in recent weeks, there’s a chance it was resurrected before the deadline.

Miguel replaced Corinthians in July and has been Matz Sels’ backup ever then. On his debut for the team, he gave up a goal against the Magpies after just 18 seconds, but he recovered with some excellent saves. The hosts fell 4-3 in the ensuing penalty shootout despite the second round tie ending 1-1 at halftime. Matt Turner is likely to be impacted by the arrival of another goalkeeper at the City Ground. With Miguel’s arrival, the American has fallen in the hierarchy and is now one of the players whose fates are uncertain as the window closes.
