Wilson Odobert, a winger for Burnley, is being targeted by Ipswich Town, according to Football Insider’s sources.

Despite Burnley’s Premier League relegation last season, the 19-year-old was one of their bright spots.

After losing out on Jenen Philogene, who returned to Aston Villa, Ipswich is looking to add more attacking depth, and they are now aiming to sign Odobert, a France Under-23 international.

After the additions of Liam Delap, Jacob Greaves, and Omari Hutchinson, the Premier League’s new boys have had an extremely busy transfer window thus far this summer.

Odobert is a player that Kieran McKenna and his staff feel might play a key role in creating a team that can escape relegation.

Wilson Odobert wants to assist Ipswich avoid relegation.

After joining Burnley from French club Troyes, Odobert made 33 appearances in his debut season, tallying three goals and dishing out three assists.

Although the 19-year-old is a flexible winger who can play on either side, he loves to be on the left to be able to cut in and challenge defenders.

After missing out on signing Philogene, Ipswich is looking for a new winger, and while still young, Odobert provides Premier League experience.

Odobert would want to stay at Burnley, but if he insists on returning to the Premier League, Burnley might have to sell the winger against their better judgment.
