Chris Davies faces several selection challenges as Birmingham City prepare to face Wrexham in League One.
The Blues are set to host Wrexham, another team vying for the title, at St Andrew’s on Monday night, aiming to make a strong statement early in the promotion race.
Birmingham had a break last weekend due to the postponement of their match against Exeter City for the international break, so most of the squad is well-rested and ready for the game. They have been in good form, securing three wins and a draw in their first four matches.
In contrast, Wrexham played last weekend and topped the league as a result. Phil Parkinson’s side clinched a 3-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town, following previous draws and wins, including games against Bolton Wanderers, Peterborough United, Reading, and Wycombe Wanderers.
In terms of team news, Birmingham City has a growing injury list, but the depth gained from a busy summer transfer window provides Davies with plenty of options.

As the top scorer in League One last season and leading scorer this term with four goals in four games, May is a sure starter up front.
