Exclusive: National League deal with DAZN

National League agree 7-year broadcast deal with DAZN – Eastleigh FC

National League games will be streamed on the sports platform DAZN for the next few seasons.

Details are limited at the moment, but it seems TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) are no longer partnering with the National League.

The Non-League Paper has suggested that one game per week will receive full, multi-camera coverage, while other games will be available outside of the usual 3pm Saturday blackout.

All Playoff games will also be covered, with various subscription packages offered, including single match, monthly, and season-long options.

The league has announced a multi-year deal with DAZN, ending in the early 2030s.

General Manager Mark Ives stated: “We are incredibly excited about this groundbreaking long-term joint venture with DAZN, one of the biggest players in sports broadcasting. This deal demonstrates the continuing growth and reach of the National League.

“The global exposure that DAZN will bring to the league and our clubs cannot be overstated.

“DAZN will use their vast expertise in sports broadcasting and streaming to allow fans in both the UK and internationally to access live matches across all connected devices like never before.

“We look forward to working closely with them to enhance the viewing experience for all fans who can’t be at the stadium, which we believe will benefit our clubs and supporters.

“I would also like to thank TNT Sports for their full support and coverage they have provided.”

DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev added: “DAZN’s technology makes us uniquely placed to create destinations for sports fans, and this multi-year partnership will allow us to create a global home for the National League, helping fans better access the teams they are passionate about, while creating engagement opportunities to reach new audiences.

“This is the latest in a series of channel deals that leverage DAZN’s scale and industry-leading tech stack to revolutionize the way rights holders increase exposure to domestic and international audiences and develop their sport digitally and commercially.”

While this will likely mean another subscription service for Glovers fans, DAZN will presumably also host National League TV services.

There’s no sign of an early “Live Games” list like TNT/BT provided, so this announcement might need additional updates in the future.
