EXCLUSIVE: Who Sean Dyche instructs Everton to sign who’d be perfect for his system

Exclusive: Sean Dyche tells Everton to sign 10-goal Luton Town star who’d be perfect for his system

Everton are interested in Luton striker Elijah Adebayo

Elijah Adebayo, a striker for Luton, is of interest to Everton.

Elijah Adebayo of Luton is a striker, and TEAMtalk can exclusively tell that Everton is prepared to give him the opportunity to stay in the Premier League.

Following their Premier League relegation, Rob Edwards’ team is expecting bids for some of their key players, including Adebayo, this summer.

With 10 goals in 27 Premier League games this season, the 6’5 hitman has shown to be a serious threat to defenders in the league.

The 26-year-old is highly regarded by Everton manager Sean Dyche, who reportedly regards him as an important complement to his plans at Goodison Park, according to TEAMtalk sources.

Adebayo’s qualities, in Dyche’s opinion, would make him a great foil in his team as he looks to bolster his offensive line for the upcoming campaign.

Although Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been playing well lately, he may still use more competition in the target man position.

Everton prioritises bringing in strikers because they are the second-lowest scoring team in the league, only Sheffield United, the cellar boys, scoring less than them.

Adebayo’s outstanding equaliser in the 1-1 draw between the teams at Kenilworth Road was the only thing that could have impressed Dyche.

Sean Dyche wants Everton to have more firepower.

In order to extend Calvert-Lewin’s contract, which is set to expire in 12 months, Everton is anticipated to intensify talks with him in the upcoming weeks.

Although the Toffees recruited Beto from Udinese last summer, Dyche wants another striker to rival Calvert-Lewin. Beto has shown glimpses of fine form this season.

Youssef Chermiti, 19, is a highly regarded talent at Everton, but in order to get regular playing time, he probably would benefit from a loan away from Merseyside.

By bringing in Adebayo, Dyche would be able to approve Chermiti’s loan departure and relieve some of the strain on Calvert-Lewin and Beto, his team’s key players.

To avoid another infraction of the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations, Everton must be astute during the summer transfer window, and their first course of action should be the sale of players.

Before the team has to turn in their season’s accounts on June 30th, a major departure is anticipated, with midfielder Amadu Onana and center-back Jarrad Branthwaite being the most sought-after players.

Goalie Jordan Pickford has also been linked to a move, with Chelsea and Arsenal showing interest. However, according to TEAMtalk sources, Pickford is content at Goodison Park and is unlikely to leave at this time.

After they have received some much-needed funding from player sales, Everton is prepared to intensify their pursuit of Adebayo.
