Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea have made a bid to sign £38m player who is keen on joining them

With regard to making long-term acquisitions during the current transfer window, Chelsea is far from done.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, among others, have signed contracts with the Blues, and they are expected to play their first games for the team tonight against Wrexham.

Adarabioyo has already pleased coaches during training, and the fact that he was brought in at no cost implies that he has the potential to be a very successful player.

The club is apparently looking to add a goalkeeper this summer, and they have supposedly made their initial move on one player to fill this position, according to recent reports.

Filip Jorgensen made an impression for Villarreal during the previous season, and according to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have made their first serious attempt to sign him this summer.

Chelsea offers Filip Jorgensen a contract.

“EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea sends first bid to Villarreal in the region of €20 million for Filip Jorgensen!” he declared.

“It follows player-side discussions that were made public earlier this week; he is on the list as Maresca’s possible new starting goalkeeper. Jorgensen, eager to get going.

It seems that this cost won’t be sufficient to seal the sale. The goalie is rumored to have a release clause of about £38 million.

Concerns about Djordje Petrovic

Djordje Petrovic’s suitability for an Enzo Maresca system has reportedly been questioned, and given the appropriate circumstances, it appears that he might be available this summer.

This indicates that starting Robert Sanchez in goal would be the present plan, but long-term fans would probably be against it.

For this reason, a goalkeeper is undoubtedly high on the list, and Jorgensen has already demonstrated a lot of promise in this role.

Although his desire to join the team indicates that a move may be imminent, it is unclear how Villarreal will respond to this offer.
