Recently, Luton has seen several academy graduates on their bench due to numerous injuries at Kenilworth Road. The latest addition to this roster is 16-year-old defender Christian Chigozie, who is currently preparing for his GCSEs this summer.
While Chigozie hasn’t been summoned by manager Rob Edwards for first-team action yet, if given the opportunity, he would become one of the youngest players ever to represent the Hatters in a senior match. The Luton News has compiled a gallery showcasing the 15 youngest players in the club’s history to have achieved this milestone. To discover who they are, refer to the list below.

1. Connor Tomlinson: 15 years, 200 days
The forward made history as the youngest player to ever don the Hatters’ jersey, being substituted on by Nathan Jones in the 2-1 Checkatrade Trophy triumph against Gillingham on August 30, 2016. He had another appearance for the team before departing in 2019, subsequently playing for Bedford Town, Nuneaton Borough, and currently showcasing his skills with Northern Premier League outfit Corby Town.
