This week is Yannick Bolasie’s birthday, and it seems appropriate that the Eagles revived memories of one of his best moments wearing a Palace shirt.
After moving to the Eagles from Bristol City in 2012, Bolasie played a key role in the team’s promotion that season and made his final game for Palace in the FA Cup final.
Bolasie scored three goals against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this week, making history as the only player to score a Premier League hat-trick for Palace in just 11 minutes.
Bolasie greeted Jean-Philippe Mateta with a short “Welcome to the Premier League hat-trick club” when he repeated the feat against Aston Villa on Sunday.
Bolasie is presently representing Criciúma EC in football in Brazil.
