J’Noemi Anderson will miss at least a week after sustaining a low-grade hamstring strain during Sunday’s win over Essendon. Anderson was rested after halftime as a precaution, following her efforts on-ball to provide the Saints with extra strength at stoppages in their eight-point victory.
“It’s unfortunate for J’Noemi after such a strong start to the season, but we’re confident she’ll be back on the field soon,” said EGM AFLW Tessie McManus. “With the strain being on the lower end, we’re hopeful to have her back in contention next week.”
Additionally, Hannah Stuart will remain out for another week as she continues her recovery from a hamstring injury. McManus noted that Stuart is progressing well but emphasized the importance of ensuring full fitness, given the tight upcoming schedule.
Rebecca Ott (tibia) and Beth Pinchin (ACL) have started running exercises, while Georgia Patrikios continues to make progress in her return-to-play timeline.
