“Held in extremely high regard”: Journalist says Man Utd chiefs want to sign “special” £70m star

According to journalist Dean Jones, Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise is regarded in “extremely high regard” at Manchester United, and the Red Devils “need” a player of his level, as GIVEMESPORT has learned.

Jones calls Olise a “gem” and states he will be “very surprised” if Man United is not in talks to buy the Frenchman in the next transfer window.

Many Premier League clubs are still interested in Olise, and it is said that he has a release clause worth about £70 million. This summer, the clause might be activated.

Despite a season marred by injuries, Olise excelled for Palace while healthy, with six assists and ten goals in 19 Premier League games.

This season, the winger, Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Eberechi Eze made a potent front three; nevertheless, it is improbable that the group will play together at Selhurst Park the following year.

The Old Trafford team has a very high regard for Olivia, so I would be shocked if they are not considering signing him in the summer.

“Although Olise is a gem and his numbers support it, a right-sided forward is not the most urgent position that needs to be filled. Because of the potential influence these players can have in the future, you really don’t want to miss out on them.

“For decades, United supporters have been able to be uplifted from their seats by players. Olise is unique in that regard because they require another one of those.

This season, Erik ten Hag’s club has had difficulty scoring goals; in 38 Premier League games, they have scored 58 goals, which is more than Olise’s current team, Crystal Palace.

The signing of Olise would be a move in the right way for Man United going into the upcoming campaign. The young players Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, and Kobbie Mainoo have all shown promise this season, and it is reportedly the Red Devils’ intention to build around them.

Manchester United has begun their summer purge following a Premier League season that saw the team finish last in history. Players like Alvaro Fernandez, Anthony Martial, and Raphael Varane have all been announced to be leaving.

When their contracts expire at the end of next month, veterans Tom Heaton and Jonny Evans may be the next to join; however, it is unlikely that either will stay for a further year.

Casemiro, a 32-year-old Brazilian midfielder, is also expected to depart as Saudi Arabian clubs are showing interest in the player.
