Here we go, Aston villa star finally join chelsea on a long term contract.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are aiming to finalize the agreement for Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa today. Despite Kellyman’s limited experience with the senior team, Chelsea are ready to invest £19 million to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Although Kellyman is interested in the move, he has not yet reached personal terms with Chelsea.

The negotiations are nearly complete, but not finalized, and Chelsea also want to arrange a medical examination. Enzo Maresca’s team is eager to expedite the process and hopes to have the deal fully agreed upon today.

Selling Kellyman to Chelsea would benefit Aston Villa’s PSR position before the June 30th deadline. Additionally, Chelsea are negotiating with Villa regarding another academy player, Ian Maatsen. The left-back is set to join Aston Villa after positive discussions with their manager, Unai Emery. Although Maatsen initially wanted to return to Borussia Dortmund, where he was on loan last season, Dortmund was outbid by Aston Villa, who will pay £37.5 million.
