The Miami Dolphins’ final injury report for Week 17 contained a definitive answer, a strong suggestion and a new concern ahead of Sunday’s showdown against the Baltimore Ravens. The definitive answer is that wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will be out, the strong guess is that guard Robert Hunt will miss a fourth straight game with a hamstring injury after being listed as questionable, and the new concern is l added the name of cornerback Jalen Ramsey with a knee injury that lists him as questionable. The remainder of the final injury report includes six players listed as questionable and six others with no information on their playing status indicating they are fit to play. The six players listed as questionable were OL Lester Cotton (hip), OL Liam Eichenberg (calf/ankle), S Jevon Holland (knee), CB Xavien Howard (hip/thumb), OL Austin Jackson (oblique ) and RB Raheem Mostert (knees/ankle).
The six new additions include QB Tua Tagovailoa, T Terron Armstead, WR Tyreek Hill, RB De’Von Achane, LB Andrew Van Ginkel and WR Robbie Chosen, who cleared the concussion protocol. Of those listed as questionable, it is significant to note that Mostert is on the injury report every week and regularly misses practices, but it is the first time since Week 8 that he has been given a playing status designation, even though head coach Mike McDaniel continues to or not suggested he would be ready to go.Jackson is doubtful for the second straight week and was finally active against the Dallas Cowboys, but did not play. Holland is doubtful for the fifth straight week, but has missed the last four games due to the injury suffered in the Black Friday game against the New York Jets. All Dolphins players listed as questionable were unable to practice Friday. If the Dolphins are short on the offensive line because of Cotton and/or Eichenberg, keep in mind that they just signed veteran center Jonotthan Harrison to the active roster and veteran guard/center Matt Skura to the practice squad.
