Jack Butland breaks silence on Rangers fan bust up as he hits out at ‘unacceptable’ behaviour

Following the victory over Kilmarnock, a dispute between Rangers fans and goalkeeper Jack Butland surfaced on social media. Butland has responded to the incident. After the full-time whistle, there were confrontational scenes in the stadium’s parking lot, even though Derek McInnes’ team lost 4-1 to the Ibrox team. The entire display and Rangers’ recent run, which has seen Celtic emerge as favorites to win the Scottish Premiership heading into Saturday’s Old Firm rivalry, disappointed a lot of bettors.

As fans flocked to meet their stars, some demanding autographs, tempers flared when England cap Butland was seen getting into an argument with a spectator. The 31-year-old is seen arguing with spectators, with one saying, “I pay your wages,” before he abruptly leaves the heated altercation. After the game in Govan, Borna Barisic had to be separated from a fan, making him not the only member of the Rangers team to have an affair with a fan.

“When you have a Rangers family as big as it is, and you are there with your own kids, sometimes people overstep the mark, especially in front of children,” Butland remarked, making his first public statement about the event. We have taken care of that and moved past it.

People will constantly attempt to take something positive out of the circumstance. Everywhere you go, there will always be conflicts and people who want and expect everything from those who, for the most part, have no idea what’s going on. But, to be honest, that’s just part of playing football. That is not the focus of this week, and it is not the focus of tomorrow. I believe everything was resolved many days ago, therefore I’m not worried about it anymore.

He’ll try to move past that and win against Celtic in order to tie for first place in the league. With two games remaining in the current campaign, a victory at Celtic Park would put the Light Blues ahead of the Hoops on goal differential. Butland declared: “Every game is stressful. We are under pressure to win since it is a must for us to play for this club. We are eager to take on the task and are filled with excitement.

Since we’ve faced an uphill battle in past games, it’s critical that we get off to a strong start and establish a foundation for future success. You want to be engaged in these games, and I see it as a chance to accomplish something exceptional for this football team.”
