Jared Goff, quarterback for the Detroit Lions, tied the knot with Sports Illustrated model Christen Harper in a private ceremony held over the weekend in California. The intimate affair saw Goff dressed in a black tuxedo and bowtie, while Harper looked stunning in a strapless white gown and veil. The couple, who publicly announced their engagement in June 2022 after dating since 2019, exchanged vows in the presence of close friends and family.
The ceremony was deeply moving for Harper, who wiped away tears of joy as she officially became Mrs. Goff. Both natives of California, Jared and Christen had eagerly anticipated celebrating their special day in their home state. “This summer we’re getting married in California, and we’re very excited,” Goff had shared with People Magazine in August 2023. “California is where I grew up and currently live, and my fiancée is from just outside of Los Angeles, so she was born and raised there as well. So we have some pretty good roots there.”
Amidst this personal milestone, Goff is gearing up for the upcoming season with the Detroit Lions, aiming to build on the team’s progress on the field.
