Frontman Jeff Lynne of the Electric Light Orchestra has revealed that the group’s farewell live performance will take place at London’s BST Hyde Park on July 13, 2025.
In 2014, I resumed touring at Hyde Park. In a statement posted on social media, Lynne stated, “It looks like the ideal location for our last performance.” We are ecstatic to spend this memorable evening in London with our UK supporters. “We’re going to do it One More Time!” goes the song.
Where to get tickets for the Electric Light Orchestra’s final performance
This last performance is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for ELO aficionados. This is your last chance to join in on “Mr. Blue Sky” in front of thousands of people.
The general public can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster starting at 4 a.m. ET on Friday, October 25.
Even after sellout, tickets can still be found on secondary market websites like Viagogo, StubbHub, and Vivid Seats, which provide verified tickets with buyer warranties.
The band is presently on the “Over and Out Tour,” which is their final tour in the United States. It began in August in Palm Desert, California, and will end on October 29 in Phoenix, Arizona, with a postponed performance.
Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne founded ELO in Birmingham, England, in 1970. Their early singles, including “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Livin’ Thing,” and “Telephone Line,” became 1970s and 1980s anthems.
Lynne was left to head the band after co-founder Roy Wood left soon after they were formed. In 2014, Lynne brought ELO back to life under the moniker Jeff Lynne’s ELO, following a brief break in the 1980s.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted ELO in 2017.
