Grant Gillespie has signed a new one-year contract, which Greenock Morton is happy to announce.
Club Captain Grant, who joined from Queen’s Park in the summer of 2022, will begin his third season at Cappielow with over 75 appearances under his belt.
Since joining the team, the midfielder has been given the captain’s armband. He had an immediate impact on the team in his first season, tallying three goals in his first four competitive games. Grant has now added 12 more goals to his tally and made significant contributions to the squad.

“To have Grant sign on for another season is a real boost to the squad,” manager Dougie Imrie continued. He is an additional experienced player who will be helpful to the other boys. Along with Kirk and Cameron, Grant becomes the third player to extend today, which helps the team maintain a strong core group.
