Celtic have reportedly made an offer for a midfielder as they continue their search for reinforcements.

According to journalist Nabil Djellit on his official X account, Celtic have submitted an offer for Lyon midfielder Mahamadou Diawara.
Djellit stated (translated via DeepL): “Mahamadou Diawara, who is lacking playing time at OL, has received an offer from Glasgow Celtic, who have qualified for the UEFA Champions League. Other clubs, including Ligue 1 sides Nantes and Lens, are also interested in the 19-year-old midfielder.”
Celtic may face competition for Diawara’s signature, with clubs like Nantes, Lens, and others keen to sign him.
The France Under-19 international made 12 appearances for Lyon last season and has featured once this season as a substitute against Stade Rennais.
