Just Now: Billy Connelly revealed what he will always do to……

Billy Connolly has talked about his “interest” in death, stating that it fascinates him to watch funeral processions and consider his ideal burial site.

In 2013, the Scottish comedian and actor received a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis concurrently with his prostate cancer diagnosis. He has been candid about the difficulties this has caused.

His next book, The Accidental Artist, describes these problems in detail and also describes how he overcame the worst of his depressing ideas.

He said to The Observer, “I have always been fascinated with death.””I used to visit and observe funerals that have passed. Advice of that nature does not exist. All you have to do is dive right in.

The 81-year-old Connolly also disclosed that he is still considering his final resting site, although he believes that “a table on an island in Lock Lomond for fisherman to picnic on would be nice, instead of a headstone.”

He states in his book that he has discussed his wishes for his gravestone—should he choose to have one—with his wife, psychologist Pamela Stephenson Connolly.

“My wife Pamela wasn’t sure about me saying, ‘Jesus Christ, is that the time already?’ on mine, so we decided on ‘You’re standing on my balls!’ in tiny wee writing,” he laughed.

Connolly spoke up about his life and career in a recent series, titled In My Own Words, which aired on BBC One earlier this month.

According to the summary of the special, “Sir Billy looks back on his triumphs and failures as an entertainer, husband, and father with unflinching honesty and brilliant humour.”

In his book, Connolly supposedly observes how death, while still regarded somewhat of a taboo subject, is a massive business: “It’s a $21bn-a-year industry in the US. I went to a pet cemetery where the cost of burying a guinea pig was $1,000 for the marble headstone, $500 for the grave, and $350 for the coffin.

Following therapy, he received the all-clear in 2013 regarding his cancer.

The comedian told The Mirror, “You just confront it and make decisions based on it,” regarding how he handled the news. All you have to do is think, “Don’t think that life is treating you badly, or that you are picking the wrong straws.” There are millions of people like you. Simply act appropriately and unwind.
