Matt O’Riley’s future is still the subject of speculation, but it seems to have stepped up a notch over the past week or so.

O’Riley is still a perfect professional who plays well and trains well despite the persistent rumours. Fans expect him to start for Celtic against Hibs on Sunday.
This window, Celtic has already turned down a number of bids, most recently a £20 million approach from Atlanta. The Italian team has tried several times, but each time it hasn’t been able to match Celtic’s price.
The Mail on Sunday now disclosed that Bournemouth is considering making a hefty offer for O’Riley, buoyed by the sale of Dominic Solanke to Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs for £65 million.
Brighton is willing to match Celtic’s value and has also expressed a great deal of interest.
Celtic is prepared to demand a record-breaking sum for their key midfield player, establishing a floor price of £25 million, as interest in their player peaks.
Where Matt O’Riley will play football in the upcoming season is still unknown.
