The Annual General Meeting of the Richmond Football Club Limited (“the Club”) will be held at the Swinburne Centre at Punt Road Oval, Richmond, Victoria on Wednesday, 11 December 2024 at 5.30pm (AEDT).

Access to the Annual General Meeting will also be available in a virtual format.

The Club will provide members with the notice of the Annual General Meeting and all details in relation to accessing and participating in the virtual aspect of the meeting. The opportunity will exist for members joining virtually to ask questions during the meeting in respect to the items of business listed, as well as any general questions in respect to the Club. Members may submit questions in advance of the meeting by emailing Michael Stahl

Business:

1. To receive and consider the Annual Financial Report and the Directors’ Report and Declaration for the year ended 31 October 2024;

2. Declaration of the results of the election of two Directors of the Club;

3. Recognition of Club Award Winners;

4. Recognition of Life Members; and

5. To transact any other business which may lawfully be brought forward.

Election of Directors

The Club’s Constitution states that an election will be held to fill the Director positions of Henriette Rothschild and Mark Ward.

If they are eligible, each of these directors may run for office.

The Club will accept nominations for the Director post until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024. According to the Club’s Constitution, nominations must be signed by two Club members and all candidates must be active members of the Club.

Additionally, in accordance with the Club’s Constitution, by August 31, 2024, the nominee, their proposer, seconder, and all other members planning to cast a ballot must have been a financial member of the Club for the 2024 year.

Nominees should be aware that any new Director will be subject to a police check and any other enquiries required to make sure the Director satisfies the requirements of the applicable Acts and Regulations due to Director duties.
