Krishna stays longer with Akuila Cama of Odisha FC

Roy Krishna, the captain of the Digicel Fiji football team, will play for Odisha FC in the Indian Super League for an additional season. With the club, the Fijian wonder kid will continue to grow and establish himself in Indian football for the 2024–2025 season. Krishna, who will be playing in his sixth ISL season, initially entered the league in 2019 and is enthusiastic about his future with Odisha. He believes he’s had an amazing season and is forward to see what they can accomplish as a team in the upcoming one. His enthusiasm for the game is genuinely fueled by the unmatched enthusiasm and love he receives from supporters both on and off the field.

Krishna aided the squad in making it to both the ISL semifinals and the Super Cup finals. He finished as the current ISL season’s joint best goal scorer thanks to an amazing performance that further cemented his reputation as a prolific forward. Several honors have been bestowed to Krishna during his ISL career, including two joint top goal scorers titles and the golden ball during the 2020–21 campaign.

The former All Saints Secondary School student is the biggest goal contributor in ISL history thanks to his reliable goal-scoring ability. Krishna will be playing in the Indian Super League for the sixth time this coming season. Krishna knows that he is exactly where he is supposed to be, that his journey with Odisha is far from done, and he is eager to build on the solid foundation they have established in order to make more priceless moments with his teammates and their incredible supporters.
