Kula youth will take their chances in the World Cup.

The FIFA Under 20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia will present the Young Kulas with a limited opportunity to win. Brazil, France, and Canada are three strong opponents in their group, therefore head coach Angeline Chua thinks they need to be realistic. Chua clarifies that this does not imply that they are in Colombia merely to pad the stats. “I believe nothing has changed, and we will prioritize defense due to the three teams we will play in the World Cup. We will also naturally look for any small opportunities we have to score goals.”

The Young Kulas will play their first World Cup match this Sunday at 11 a.m. against Brazil, and then they will play Canada at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. They play France in their last pool match on Saturday at 10 a.m. FBC Sports is your home for live World Cup coverage.
