LATEST: Injury update emerges ahead of Rangers v Kilmarnock

Due to a recent thigh injury, Rangers defender Ridvan Yilmaz is not expected to play the entire ninety minutes against Kilmarnock on October 20, according to Dr. Rajpal Brar.

According to the injury specialist, he will be gradually reintegrated into the first team, receiving valuable minutes off the bench because he has been away for so long and lacks match readiness.

The Gers are five points behind Celtic in the race for the SPFL title and will play Killie at Rugby Park on Sunday.

Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapy physician, spoke exclusively to Ibrox News about his predicament, saying:

According to Clement’s remarks, I anticipate that he will receive bounce minutes before the allotted 90 minutes.

It’s difficult to predict when a player will be fully recovered, but it usually takes many games and steady playing time.

Given that he hasn’t played in a while, it’s safe to assume that he won’t play the entire game this weekend.

Given Rangers’ poor performance in the SPFL, Ridvan Yilmaz is required.

During Philippe Clement’s first few months at Ibrox, Yilmaz was one of the top players, but he has subsequently experienced injury problems.

Borna Barisic was the first pick when the Belgian took control, but the Turkey international soon proved himself.Philippe Clement
