The National League Under 19s Academy South League and the National League Youth Alliance Under 19s League are where the Shrimpers will be competing.

The Blues’ young players will get additional playing time as a result of the move, and both leagues are anticipated to begin play in late August.

Danny Heath added 19 players to his roster this summer, thus the team for the upcoming campaign will have 12 first-year students, 14 second-year players, and 5 third-year players.

The newly redesigned team started preseason training this week, and on Saturday they will play their first warm-up match.

The Blues’ under-17 squad will play the Cambridge City 18s, and their under-19 team will play the Cambridge City first team away from home.
