After failing to secure promotion to the Premier League, Leeds face transfer challenges, particularly with outgoing players.
This time, loan clauses won’t be a significant issue, as the 49ers are poised to soon offload the remaining two players whose contracts include these clauses.
Jack Harrison is expected to leave the club on loan again after their playoff final loss, with his next destination already determined. The winger is set to return to Everton for a second consecutive season, reuniting with Sean Dyche after assisting the team in avoiding relegation once more.
Sky Sports’ Tim Thornton reported on June 22 that the deal for Harrison to rejoin Everton would be finalized within 48 hours, and that timeframe has now passed.
The 27-year-old is well-versed in maintaining his fitness during the off-season. He notably underwent a significant transformation in the summer of 2019 before rejoining Marcelo Bielsa’s team.
He has shared this update on his Instagram page as he prepares for another move to Everton.
Harrison was inconsistent in the Premier League last season, drawing significant criticism from fans for his performances.
However, his work ethic has always been unquestionable, and his quality out of possession is something Dyche will undoubtedly appreciate. This is likely a key reason for triggering his loan again, knowing he’ll always put in a tremendous effort.
If he improves his output, Everton might consider signing him permanently next summer.
