Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has provided positive news on the injury front, specifically regarding forward duo George Hirst and Nathan Broadhead. Hirst is a couple of weeks away from returning after his knee injury, with hopes that he’ll feature in the upcoming matches between the two international breaks. Meanwhile, Broadhead, who suffered a hamstring injury in pre-season, is very close to rejoining team training and is expected to be available after the international break.
McKenna also noted that there were no new injuries from their recent matches, adding that the squad is gradually strengthening, with Harry Clarke making positive strides following Achilles surgery.
