Melbourne City has confirmed the departure of five players, including Socceroo and three foreign signings.

Five players left Melbourne City at the end of their contracts with the Isuzu UTE A-League team, the club has confirmed.

Terry Antonis, a midfielder for City who played just one season there, is leaving the team after making 22 league appearances and scoring a number of incredible goals, including one midway through a match against Western Sydney Wanderers that will likely compete for Goal of the Season.

Vicente Fernandez, a full-back from Chile, signed a short-term contract with City in January, but he has no intention of staying after it ends. Additionally, City announced that following a one-year loan agreement, loanees Marin Jakolis (34 appearances, 3 goals) and Leo Natel (29 appearances, 6 goals) will return to their respective parent clubs.

In a club statement, City said, “We thank the players for their contributions throughout the season and wish them all the best for the future.”
