With a busy summer ahead of them, Everton is allegedly focusing on a Serie A defender to give Sean Dyche a defensive boost for the upcoming campaign.

In addition to signing Tim Iroegunam, Iliman Ndiaye, and Jack Harrison this summer, rumors now have the Toffees agreeing to sign free agent Sekou Koita, who recently left Red Bull Salzburg.
The 24-year-old is expected to play a significant role in the Toffees’ offensive makeover as they attempt to avoid losing to the Premier League’s worst team once more the following season.
Just after writing his first draft, Ndiaye told EvertonTV, “As a player, I like to dribble, show skills, and get the fans out of their seats.” In addition to wanting to work hard, I also like to score goals and get assists. I enjoy sprinting, racing after the ball, and leading the team up the field. You play as the first striker and last defense. I enjoy performing that part.

Nevertheless, Everton doesn’t appear to be stopping there or even after Koita. Now, TuttoMercatoWeb reports that Everton is interested in signing Jackson Tchatchoua from Hellas Verona, who are asking for €8 million (£7 million). Following a season-long loan spell, the Italian club signed the right-back for a reported €2 million earlier this month, and they intend to make 400% profit on him.
Coleman can succeed Tchatchoua.
Arriving perhaps to give Dyche’s team more depth, Tchatchoua can offer competitive practice for Seamus Coleman, the captain of Everton, and Ashley Young, the team’s right-back, before eventually taking over for the two seasoned players, who are 38 and 35 years old, respectively, and heading toward retirement. The Toffees have clearly planned for Tchatchoua’s arrival as they attempt to resolve their current issues.

Even though Young had a strong season the previous time around, Tchatchoua, assuming he signs this summer, should take over down the right side. Young cannot play forever. In contrast, the 22-year-old demonstrated a great deal of promise that he can match the former Manchester United player and eventually replace him.
Next season, Dyche’s team will only gain from competition for spots, both up front and even within his backline.
