SAM Hornby did not feature for Southend United against Canvey Island tonight after being handed an opportunity elsewhere.
But the shot-stopper is currently pursuing an opportunity with a League Two club.
Shrimpers boss Kevin Maher confirmed: “Sam went to another club to have a look. Fair play to him but we’re looking in that area and it’s ongoing.”
