Official announcement due: Two Rangers players agree deals in principle to quit Ibrox

According to TeknoZil, Trabzonspor has agreed to deals in principle with John Lundstram and Borna Barisic, who are about to leave the Rangers.

They now seem to be leaving Ibrox in a free transfer to Turkey after failing to sign new contracts.

On Thursday, April 25, a Turkish news outlet stated that formal announcements on the moves of Lundstram and Barisic are expected shortly.

Apparently, despite Philippe Clement’s best efforts to retain former Sheffield United midfielder Lundstram because he values his versatility, these decisions have been taken.

Should the Rangers allow Barisic and Lundstram to go?

Lundstram’s management has stated that Rangers was interested in signing him, but he appears to have decided to go elsewhere.

After joining from Croatian league Osijek in 2018, Barasic became a vital member of the team and remained so for six years.

After just 15 starts this season [FotMob], the 31-year-old, who split left back responsibilities with Dujon Sterling, is ready for a change of scenery.

It is safe to assume that Clement does not want the two to leave Ibrox, but since they appear to have made up their minds, the Gers can wait for the news.
