Player admit he is looking forward to working with Ange postecoglou at Tottenham

Japhet Tanganga, a defender for Tottenham, has acknowledged that he is excited to collaborate with Ange Postecoglou.

Tanganga, a 25-year-old academy graduate, has had ups and downs throughout his time at Tottenham, finding it difficult to become a regular for the Premier League team.

He was eventually loaned out to Bundesliga side Augsburg last September, however, the move turned out to be a disaster with the player failing to make a single appearance for the German side.

Tottenham terminated Tanganga’s loan deal and recalled him in January and subsequently loaned him out to Championship side Millwall, where he impressed as one of the standout defenders for the Lions.

Now, as Tanganga prepares to return to the Premier League side, his future at the club remains uncertain.

While he may be given an opportunity to showcase his abilities during pre-season, speculation suggests that he could be among the players set to be offloaded in the upcoming transfer window.

Tanganga meanwhile is looking forward to his return to Tottenham and has admitted that he is keen to work with the Australian manager.

In an interview with Football London, Tanganga revealed his positive impressions of the Australian manager’s approach and philosophy.

He said the following to Football London:

“Yes, I am excited to collaborate with Ange. He welcomed me in preseason and I clearly noticed and liked his ideas before going out on loan to Germany.

I’m excited to see his ideas and work with him since it’s clear that he enjoys keeping the ball, is highly attack-minded, and is succeeding.

TBH Says:

Tanganga’s enthusiasm to adopt Postecoglou’s philosophy shows that he is prepared to change and support Tottenham’s goals under their new manager.

But in the last two transfer windows, Tottenham already acquired Radu Dragusin and Micky van de Ven, and they are anticipated to add another center-back this summer.

The Spurs’ prospects of keeping Tanganga are diminished by this. It is unclear if he will be permanently sold or loaned out.
