Rangers really need to get their act together if they are to be successful this season, on the pre-season showings, they are a long way off.
One area of the park that still needs to be upgraded is midfield with Connor Barron and Mohamed Diomande battling on their own to put out fires and get their team up the park.

Rangers go back in for Joan Jordan

Jordan is just the kind of experienced player Philippe Clement needs on his team. Someone who can maintain order, control the game, and let the people with longer legs run the show. Given the players that appear certain to depart, the manager may need to think about adjusting his lineup. Todd Cantwell has asked to leave, Ianis Hagi is slated to be sold, and Tom Lawrence has lost what little pace he has and is rumored to be moving to England.
Leaving Alex Lowry as the only number 10 for the Rangers. Without someone who is a natural in that capacity, you cannot play this system. Jordan should start at the base of midfield, and Barron, Diomande, and Nicolas Raskin can press farther up the field after that. They are more than capable of moving around. Joan Jordan walks into Clement’s team and, more crucially, he would walk into the one across the city as well, proving that the Rangers need more talent.
