Prioritizing relaxation and recuperation helped the Fiji men’s football team prepare for their matchup with Vanuatu in the OFC Men’s Nations Cup semi-finals on Thursday. Yesterday, the team resumed its winning ways following a hectic weekend that included matches against Tahiti and travel to Vanuatu.
According to Captain Roy Krishna, they are more focused on their own performance and are not worried about what their host opponents may bring to the table.
The goal is to basically concentrate on ourselves, finish our recuperation, and then turn our attention to Vanuatu.
He continues by saying that they want to make history by becoming the first Fijian team to advance to the tournament’s championship game. On Thursday at 4 p.m., they will play the host team.
