REPORT: Something crucial about the deal…

Sheik has joined the club after leaving Aldershot Town. The 19-year-old goalkeeper has played for several local teams on loan, including Three Bridges, Broadbridge Heath, and Winchester City.

He made his debut for Aldershot Town last season in the National League.

Sandford has agreed to a new one-year contract with the club, ensuring he will remain at the Broadfield Stadium for another year.

Despite not featuring in matches for the club, Sandford has impressed during training sessions and has become a popular member of the first-team squad.

Steve Hale, the Reds’ goalkeeper coach, commented, “Ryan received excellent recommendations from several goalkeeper coaches I know. Unfortunately, when he joined, Corey [Addai] was in excellent form, and we didn’t have cup games where he could play.”

“However, his daily contributions in training, both on and off the field, justified offering him an extended contract, and I’m pleased he’s remaining with us.”

“I first noticed Jasper during his loan spell from Aldershot to Three Bridges, and during our playoff preparations, he trained with us. He’s a promising young goalkeeper, very quick and agile in his goalkeeping, and his ability with the ball at his feet suits our style of play.”

“I have a development plan in place for him, including potential loan spells, and I’m excited to see what lies ahead for him.”
