Huddersfield Town secured back-to-back league wins with a comfortable 3-1 home victory over Bristol Rovers.

Scott Sinclair had to catch Tom Lees’ looping header off the line from a Huddersfield corner, but the home team was well ahead from the start and it seemed like a matter of time until they took the lead.
But just after the interval, Matty Pearson scored off a similar Ben Wiles ball, and four minutes later, Callum Marshall extended the lead.

The Northern Ireland international took Rovers keeper Josh Griffiths by surprise with a first-time goal from a close angle after running onto Nigel Lonwijk’s nutmegged through ball into the box.
On minute fifty-two, Town increased their lead when Bojan Radulovic scored his first goal of the season after Mickel Miller’s pass went past the Rovers’ goal.
In the 69th minute, Rovers had their first attempt on goal when Isaac Hutchinson’s looping effort beat Jacob Chapman, giving them a meagre consolation goal.
