St. Louis CITY’s Célio Pompeu wins Goal of the Matchday

After enjoying a breakthrough season, Célio Pompeu was named the AT&T Goal of the Matchday for Matchday 10.

Second position went to Steven Moreira (27.3%), whose long-range goal from center back stunned the Portland Timbers and helped the Columbus Crew escape with a 2-2 tie.

Thiago Almada (15.8%) tied for third place; Almada’s second goal of the year was expertly curled home. However, it was unable to stop Atlanta United from losing to FC Cincinnati 2-1.

Third-place finisher Prince Owusu (15.8%): Owusu’s acrobatic back-heel flick combined talent and improvisation to help Toronto FC defeat the New England Revolution 1-0.
