Suva’s campaign in the OFC FUTSAL Men’s Championships came to an end as they were defeated 1–5 by Mataks from the Solomon Islands.
The host club, AS PTT, will now face off against Mataks in the final of the competition being held in New Caledonia.
Suva needed a victory to remain in the running after suffering an unexpected 1-3 setback to UNV of Vanuatu on Thursday.
After Rajneel Singh’s goal tied the score at one goal each at halftime, Mataks took control of the game in the third quarter.
Nikhil Chand of Suva was also shown a red card during the game.
The Whites’ final game of the season is against AS PTT.
In the meantime, Extra Labasa takes against Ba in the Digicel Fiji Premier League tonight at Subrail Park at 1pm.
In another game, Extra Rewa takes on Nadi at 7 p.m. at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
At the Fiji FA Academy field in Vatuwaqa tomorrow, Flick Suva and Lautoka will play a double header at 1pm, while Nasinu and Navua will play at 3pm.
Nadroga and Tailevu Naitasiri meet at Ratu Cakobau Park at 1pm.
