The most affordable street to live on in Croydon has been identified, with homes selling for just £166,000. HM Land Registry transaction records from the past four years show that properties on this Croydon street have averaged sales of £166,166.
This street is Barclay Road, located in the town centre near Fairfield Halls, where six properties have changed hands since January 2020. Most of these sales have occurred within the St Crispin House block of flats, one of the borough’s most notable tower blocks.
Following closely, Hogarth Crescent is the second-cheapest street in Croydon, with properties selling for an average of £167,650 over the last four years. Three flats were sold in Groombridge Court, while two other apartments on the street sold for under £200,000.
Campbell Road ranks next, with properties selling for an average of £191,361. Over this period, 14 properties were sold, suggesting there is plenty of availability for those considering a move soon.
The sales include properties in Robinson Court and Clifton House, both blocks of flats, as well as homes along the road, which also features a nursery at one end.
