This season, according to a Sky Sports analyst, Nottingham Forest has been “absolutely unbelievable.”

Tonight, Nottingham Forest takes on Crystal Palace at the City Ground in an attempt to improve on their away from home performance on Trentside.

This season, Forest has won eight of its ten points away from home, although they have only won two of their three games at home.

It’ll be fascinating to watch how long it takes the Reds to get rolling tonight since a number of Forest players have been away on international duty. Palace will put Nuno Espirito Santo’s team to the test as they visit the City Ground hoping to win for the first time this year. They have a formidable roster. Morgan Gibbs-White, who was red carded against Brighton and now faces a further suspension, will not play for Forest tonight despite his injury.

Seb Hutchinson hails Nottingham Forest star Nikola Milenkovic

Since Forest came up, the Sky Sports pundit will be present for the live television coverage tonight, and he has created some unforgettable moments behind the microphone. Before tonight’s game, Hutchinson praised the addition of Milenkovic and questioned him about the Forest team’s performance thus far this season. There is a fairly passive manner of defending in that Forest doesn’t engage sides when they come onto you, he said to the Red Side of the Trent podcast. That seems to work really well for Forest’s current center backs.

“That’s not what Forest does; I’m not advocating that they park the bus. Despite Murillo’s criticism in the air, both center halves are excellent; Milenkovic in particular has been outstanding this season aerially considering the amount the team paid.

Milenkovic is the man behind the Forest revival

It’s absurd to think that a player who costs £12 million can arrive to Forest in the Premier League and start playing right away. Since Premier League football returned, recruitment has been a big topic at Forest, and it’s safe to argue that the team hasn’t always gotten it right. Though Milenkovic has been a fantastic addition, it is simply unimaginable in this day and age to find a good defender for that kind of money.

At the center of a back four, the player has already developed a strong connection with Murillo and possesses true leadership characteristics. Although Milenkovic has already been connected to a move away from the team, Forest is not planning to sell him just yet. It is not to be taken lightly that an international captain has joined Forest, and one can only hope that Milenkovic can keep winning big for the team this year.
