As the off-season of change at Punt Road continues, RICHMOND has delisted forwards Matthew Coulthard and Noah Cumberland.

Although the Tigers have decided to relist the untested 211-cm ruck, they have also cut category B rookie Mate Colina.

After five years with the Tigers and 25 games played, including a 2020 season marred by a devastating knee injury, Cumberland, 23, is leaving the team.

In 2022, he made his AFL debut and kicked 19 goals in nine games, including five against Brisbane, which was his greatest season.

Despite the Tigers’ long injury list, he only played seven games for six goals in 2024 as opportunities dried up under new coach Adem Yze.

Following his selection with pick No. 4 in the 2024 mid-season rookie draft, Coulthard, who is also 23 years old, played six games in 18 months at the club.

Cumberland and Coulthard’s performances in yellow and black were commended by Tigers list manager Blair Hartley.

“Both Noah and Matthew moved interstate to join Richmond and put their best foot forward during their time at the Club,” he stated.

“We thank Noah for his hard work and efforts across the past five years with us, and Matthew for his contribution across the last 18 months.”

Eight of the first 24 picks in the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft, scheduled for November 20–21, are in Richmond.
