Tom English has aimed a new dig at Fabio Silva during Rangers’ 0-0 draw against Dundee at Dens Park after Philippe Clement dragged the forward off.
English suggested that Rangers had been playing with ten men while Silva was on the pitch, commenting that they were back up to a full 11 after his substitution.
This has become the latest in a number of digs English has aimed at the Ibrox club despite controversy surrounding his recent comments about Ally McCoist.
Taking to X during the game [17 April], the BBC journalist wrote: “Rangers back up to 11 after the removal of Fabio Silva.”

It was another disappointing display from the Wolves loanee who continued his spell of bad form, failing to pose a threat in the final third before being substituted in favour of Rabbi Matondo shortly after the half-time break.
Silva has been an easy target for criticism from pundits recently after controversy in the 3-3 draw against Celtic at Ibrox as he won a penalty before another frustrating display in the 3-2 defeat to Ross County last time out.
However, plenty of that criticism has been warranted as he has failed to make a positive impact on Clement’s team after playing a new wide role during the absence of the likes of Ross McCausland and Oscar Cortes.
While Silva was far from the biggest issue in any of their last three games, his inconsistency up front along with the poor form of his teammates has opened the loanee up to heavy criticism during Rangers’ slip from the top.
