The 4th Official claims that by Wednesday, Rangers should have confirmed and started training for both Yusuf Kabadayi and Hamza Igamane.
On June 24, Gary Morris posted on the outlet’s YouTube channel in the evening. He stated that Philippe Clement will likely complete the acquisition of the two attackers in the next 48 hours, allowing them to begin training with the Belgian right now.
After agreeing to a fee between £1 million and £1.5 million with Bayern Munich, the host of the T4O podcast reported on June 9 that the Light Blues were in talks with German winger Kabadayi. On June 20, Chris Jack of Rangers Review reported that a deal for Moroccan striker Igamane was now imminent following another agreement worth roughly £1.5 million being reached with FAR Rabat.
Morris stated: “I would firmly expect both of those to be arriving for training with Rangers over the course of the next 48 hours or so. Rangers remain in very serious talks with Yusuf Kabadayi of Bayern Munich.”
At Ibrox, Philippe Clement will sign two more Rangers players.
Although the manager and Nils Koppen still have a lot of work ahead of them, the squad’s transformation will be much more advanced after the arrival of the two young strikers.
After signing a short Motherwell extension to cover his participation in the competition, keeper Liam Kelly is also anticipated to sign soon now that Scotland has been eliminated from Euro 2024 [Daily Record, 8 June].
They will all come after Connor Barron, a former midfielder for Aberdeen, Clinton Nsiala from AC Milan, Oscar Cortes’ return from Lens, and the postponed signing of Jefte, a defender for Fluminense.
The Light Blues’ assault was unreliable due to numerous injuries and erratic play last season, thus new players were almost certain to be added this summer.
Although Cortes’ return and the two new arrivals are a somewhat positive beginning, more arrivals and departures in the forward regions would not be shocking.
