UNBEBLIEVABLE: Is this why Arsenal and Manchester United will not sign Michael Olise?

Is this why Arsenal and Man United won’t sign Michael Olise?
Could Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard be among the reasons Michael Olise has not joined Arsenal? That is the one question Arsenal fans will have after hearing this news about Olise.

According to Football Transfers, the Crystal Palace winger seeks to join a team that offers Champions League football and a starting position.

These two factors reduce Manchester United and Arsenal’s prospects of signing the French U-21. Why is that? Manchester United are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League, hence Olise’s dream of playing in the Premier European competition will not come true.

Arsenal can promise him Champions League football, but not a spot in the starting eleven. Manager Mikel Arteta is noted for sticking with his favourites. If Olise is to start for Arsenal, he should play on the right flank of the attack, alongside Saka and Odegaard.

Olise would need a lot of convincing to believe he could go in and replace Saka or Odegaard. While dropping this transfer bombshell, Football Transfers reported that Aston Villa, who are about to return to Champions League action and can easily provide Olise a first-team position, have emerged as favourites for his signing.

This is the main difficulty. I’ve been crying all along, but the Arsenal administration has remained silent: Arteta’s non-rotational approach will kill the club. We are not moving forward with him. Two seasons ago, Partey was injured nine games before the end of the season; we only won half of these games and thus missed out on the Champions League. Now that we have Rice, the best thing to do is rotate them both, as his boss Guardiola does. But Arteta isn’t doing that. He will only look for a method to include you in his starting eleven. Other positions are expected to be alternated. Let Saka rotate with Oliseh, Havertz with Odegaard in midfield, and the incoming offensive midfielder with Smith Rowe. If Arteta continues to follow Wenger’s non-rotation philosophy, Arsenal will constantly suffer since two or three key players will be injured throughout the season. We lost Saliba at the conclusion of last season and lost the league due to a lack of bench space caused by Arteta’s non-rotational method. Of course, no good player will want to play second fiddle. Xhaka resigned last season despite getting first-team opportunities under Arteta because he believed Rice and Havertz were on their way in and his coach did not rotate players.
This is a crucial issue that Arsenal must address, as we continue to buy low-quality players despite having the funds to do so.

I disagree with your judgement. I believe Arteta would rotate if there was someone in the squad on the same level as Odegaard and Saka, but there is not.

Assuming that, Olise would be an excellent addition to the right side of the squad, but I believe this is a trap. He would most likely injure his hamstring again while playing in an intensive press system, rendering him inactive for half of the season. This negates the objective.

I would bring back Gnabry. He’s in his prime and would cost less than half what Olise is asking for. And given his history, I believe he would enjoy a homecoming.
