The analysts have discounted the absurd idea of a Rangers player switching from Ibrox to Celtic. Despite experiencing injury problems on his season-long Brighton loan, Abdallah Sima has shown promise. Rangers supporters will undoubtedly be excited to see him back in blue next season if a permanent contract with the Seagulls can be reached. He has scored 16 goals in 38 games.
Despite winning the Premiership this season, Celtic plans to bolster its roster in the summer. When it was mentioned that Sima may be stolen from under Rangers’ nose, a fan of the Hoops called into Clyde 1’s SSB to voice his opinions about possible moves this summer for Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
Pundits Hugh Keevins and Kenny Miller, the former Rangers striker, exchanged shocked faces as they discussed a strong squad option and laughed about it. When the idea of taking Butland was brought up, Miller responded with a simple “Just imagine, eh, just imagine.”
Miller stated, “It takes a special kind of strong character to be making these kind of decisions.” Miller has played for both sides of the Old Firm.
“In the end, I don’t think Celtic would be looking for a signing like that again,” the former attacker continued. Although Sima has had an amazing season, I would compare him to Maeda.
Despite having signed three or four wingers in the last 18 months, I believe Celtic will still need a winger. Sima is not the kind, and it will cost either £7 million or £8 million. You’re not signing it merely to join a team.
