The main incident occurred just before the 30-minute mark when Fabian Schar and Southampton striker Ben Brereton Díaz squared off after Schar was knocked to the ground. Schar was shown a red card for headbutting Brereton Díaz, who appeared to go down quite easily after minimal contact.
The drama continued at halftime, with several players clashing in the tunnel. Footage surfaced showing Burn and Bednarek exchanging words and shoving each other, forcing others to intervene.
It is believed that Burn was waiting to confront Brereton Díaz, but Bednarek stepped in to defend his teammate. The incident might attract the attention of the FA, potentially leading to disciplinary action.
