The youthful gun has drawn real interest from Eagles general manager Gavin Bell.

Bell told The Sydney Morning Herald, “We would love to have Chad play at our club if he wishes to return to Perth at any point to continue his career.”

“We are aware that Chad’s current contract with Sydney is set to expire in 18 months.

Warner hasn’t missed a game and is swiftly rising through the ranks to become a frontrunner to win the Brownlow Medal in 2024.

He has already kicked 19 goals and is averaging 24.6 disposals.

Sydney leads Essendon by six points at the top of the AFL standings going into the bye.
