Under Julen Lopetegui, West Ham has had a turbulent start to the season.
Jean-Clair Todibo has appeared unsteady at the back, Robbie Mustoe has attacked Guido Rodriguez on The Two Robbies Podcast, and Lopetegui’s use of Crysencio Summerville has been questioned.
Rodriguez is a huge problem in the West Ham midfield, according to the analyst, who also asserts that the Argentine is unable to run.
For West Ham, Guido Rodriguez is a problem.
Regarding the Argentina international and his early years in east London, Mustoe expressed his opinion.
Rodriguez is a major issue for West Ham, according to Mustoe, who claims that the midfielder is currently unable to move about the pitch.
They really positioned themselves to launch a counterattack. It has a small amount of strength. Mustoe remarked, “Guido Rodriguez, thirty years old, in the middle of the park, problem.”
That is merely an issue. Yes, he is unable to avoid the pitch.
He is unable to move. Paqueta occasionally returns, and Tomas Soucek will undoubtedly assist, although he is a more gifted player.
Rodriguez had a great reputation prior to joining West Ham.
One of the season’s surprises—and not in a good way—has been Rodriguez.
After Rodriguez departed Real Betis, West Ham appeared to have made a tremendous acquisition when they signed him on a free transfer.
Rodriguez was so highly regarded in Spain that at one point, Liverpool and Arsenal both considered signing the midfield player.
As Mustoe states, Rodriguez is a weak link in this West Ham club and appears to be a long way from being able to play for one of those elite teams.
Since it’s now far too simple for opposing teams to just play around this West Ham club, which is why they’re giving up so many goals, Julen Lopetegui needs to figure out how to give his midfield a little more vigour and strength.
Rodriguez appears to be one of the worst additions of the season even though he was a free agent.
