West Ham ‘ready to offer just over €20m’ in order to land Englishman

West Ham United are still interested in signing Tammy Abraham from AS Roma.

The 26-year-old striker had a disappointing season with the Italian side last year, managing only one goal in 12 appearances across all competitions, which makes him a potential sell this summer.

Journalist Simone Valdarchi reports that West Ham is the club most keen on acquiring Abraham and is prepared to offer over €20 million for him.

Valdarchi mentioned on MilanNews24: “Although many Premier League teams have been linked with Abraham during the transfer market, nothing concrete has materialized. Currently, West Ham appears to be the most interested and is ready to offer just over €20 million.

“Regarding the player’s preference, while the prospect of joining Milan is appealing, returning to the Premier League might also be very attractive to him.”

West Ham is in need of attacking reinforcements, and Abraham could be a valuable addition. He might pair well with Niclas Füllkrug in the attack, providing a significant upgrade over Michail Antonio and Danny Ings, who both underperformed last season. Adding a couple of efficient strikers could greatly enhance West Ham’s squad.
