During the current summer transfer window, Nottingham Forest has made the 26-year-old winger a top priority. On Thursday, Porto turned down Forest’s initial offer for the Brazilian and is now demanding a higher price.
There are rumors that Forest is currently putting up a fresh, stronger bid behind closed doors. In the next few days, the Midlands club may present a revised bid for the Brazilian winger.
Nottingham Forest is ready to leave the negotiation table if the price does not decrease, though, since they have other goals in mind. Forest are unlikely to reach the £30 million mark, which is reportedly what Porto is demanding in a deal.
In the event that Porto sticks to their demand for Galeno’s transfer, they are willing to consider alternative wingers.
